US AV Jobs Coalition Announces Advisory Board for Industry Collaboration

WASHINGTON, DC — The US AV Jobs Coalition, an initiative developed to shed light on the economic impacts of autonomous vehicles (AVs), has launched an Advisory Board comprised of leaders from across the AV industry. The 12-member advisory board will convene to help shape a more informed, constructive conversation around the AV workforce, jobs, and talent demand as the industry continues to scale.

Since 2024, the US AV Jobs Coalition has provided research-backed insights for the public and policymakers on the economic impacts of AV advancements. Through an educational website, the coalition offers resources that demonstrate the positive effects of AVs on the U.S. job market and the economy as a whole.

“The US AV Jobs Coalition has become an important source of information on workforce trends in the AV industry, and we’re looking forward to bringing together the expertise of this Advisory Board as we plan for the future,” said Katelyn Magney-Miller, Board Chair and Communications Director at Partners for Automated Vehicle Education (PAVE). “This is a great opportunity to align industry perspectives and ensure we’re building a workforce prepared to support AV deployment at scale.”

Through quarterly meetings, the Advisory Board will work to identify the most pressing workforce and talent challenges facing the AV industry. Discussions will focus on topics such as career pathways, talent pipelines, and forecasting. The board will also aim to address common misconceptions about the AV workforce, collaborate on events, and develop resources for the industry, general public, and public sector agencies.
